Hoo, boy.
Well, school started again last week, which theoretically means more doodles. We'll see. Nothing worth talking about school-wise really springs to mind right now. So, on to the current meats of this journal: comic books.
I bought Week 15 a couple of weeks ago, clearly showing that I hate myself. D: As penance, I also bought Superman: Secret Identity and the 2nd volume of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Don't ask, I don't know. I blame Superdickery's Jeph Loeb thread. Also, technically real art instead of a boredom doodle, but, c'mon, it's a genderbent Booster Gold, I couldn't help myself. :P
My personal favorite bits are Crazy!Ralph and Stalker!Skeets. :D Seriously, the first panel of this preview page for Week 19 totally makes Skeets sounds like a creepy little stalker. Also, the last panel makes me very wibbly. D: But seriously, why is Daniel so extremely identical to Michael in every way? O_o I swear, if they give him a twin sister named Danielle I will headdesk. Although I'll probably do that anyway... :/ Fun fact: In the panel with Daniel and Skeets, I originally had a cord coming from Daniel's phone before I realized that Skeets hiding behind a plant suggested an outdoors environment. Go, me.
How many of these poor shmucks are still alive/functioning as superheroes in current DC continuity? Heck, I don't even know who half these people are...
Still trying to figure out that Superbuddies/JLI-Firefly Algamalm out. Booster = Jayne. Wash = Ted? Wash = Ralph + Zoe = Sue? Wash = Mr. Miracle + Zoe = Big Barda? I don't know! D:
