done lots of work this weekend...and now i'm damn tired!!!
currently talking to megz on msn, it's really fun, but i think i'm scaring her cos i'm telling her my plans and all my researched ideas for my future and i actually done my homework and have real plans and everything
but it's great being able to chat again
we're gonna spend more time chilling and hanging out this term, which is gonna be awesome
speaking of my plans
i'm leaving aber in 2 months and want to be set up in my new life plan stuff in 3 or 4 months so i'm really cracking down on my progress

my full-time education years are nearly over :S
i know that after uni i'm gonna be able to keep in contact with the people i really care for so long as they are willing to do the same
it's exciting really
....i feel like going for a shower...
anyway, it's lizzie's birthday celebration on monday so it'll be good that most the peole we've become friends with since starting uni will be getting together in a big...thing :D
oooh! been working a lot these last few days and have come to the ultimate conclusion that the general public are stupid and find reading and listening a real problem
example 1: man with red card in beechings: 'so where can i use this?'
me: 'if you turn it over, it says on the back'
man with red card: 'can i use it anywhere else in aber'
me: 'sure, in bar essential, it says so on the other said if you turn it over'
*man with red card turns said red card over to look at the back*
man with the red card: 'where the hell is 'the pick and the shovel'?'
me: 'well, if you just read the line below, it says'
man with red card: 'oh i see now'
me: 'reading's clearly an issue for you isn't it?'
example 2:woman regarding cutlery in varsity
me: 'we bring cutlery out to you and you can find the condiments over by the gambling machine'
woman: 'ok, great, where do i get the cutlery from?'
me:'you don't need to worry about it, we bring it out to you'
woman: 'ok, thank you'
1 minute passes...woman approaches chris (new ass-man)
woman: 'where do i get the cutlery from?'
chris: 'you don't need to worry about that, we bring it out to you'
woman: 'oh right, ok'
*woman then walks over to where we're wrapping the cutlery and collects enough unwrapped cutlery for her table of people, plus a wad of napkins from the pile and walks back to her table*
*me and chris look confuddled*
example 3: woman wanting beer with food*
*woman orders food by pointing at desired meal and reading it out clearly and VERY slowly to me as though i am a dumb 5 year old*
woman: 'i want a beer too please?'
me: 'sure, what kind of beer would you like?'
woman: 'one in a tall glass'
me: 'we have pint glasses *holds up pint glass*, but what kind of beer would you like in it?, we have a selection, we have lager, bitter or cider'
woman: 'yes that glass is fine'
me: 'ok, great what would you like in it?'
woman: 'i just a want a beer! just give me a beer'
*i give up and start to pour carling*
woman: 'NO NO NO, i don't want it until i have my meal!'
*i restrain from crawling into the corner of the bar and wishing it all would go away*
and they were mostly like this
and people wander why bar staff get stressed out....
people are dumb
hung out with bex today though:) she made me a flower out of coloured card which was lovely!
....*considers actually going for a shower now...*
as you can see...i got bored of doing work...should probably get some more done before i go to matt's

am considering taking my ps2 to matt's so i can play it when i'm there and chill with something other than the o.c. :D
