THE TULIPS ARE IN BLOOM!!!!!!!

or at least the first ones are starting to show colour.

Pictures (hopefully) to follow...eventually.

At least the squirrels didn't eat them!

1. Fall is definitely here. The days are still comfortable, but we need our winter jackets for Echo's late-night walk. The tangerine leaves against the clear blue sky are stunning.

2. I'm a spring person, so I'm looking forward to my tulip garden. The tulip and alium bulbs I ordered arrived a few days ago! Squirrels (probably) ate a lot of our red ( Read more... )

Yesterday, April 26, was the first day I could see the colours on some of the tulips in our garden! This is the earliest Tulip Day since we've been in the house. Usually Tulip Day is around May 4. The earliest before this year was April 28, 2002.

Yesssssss! This is a great reward for that long, snowy winter.
