I saw this wonderful improv drummer last night at a Butoh performance. The dance was not really my thing ("so, Butoh is like Gollum on acid dressed like a Japanese tourist?" I asked my roommate) but I loved the music.

It's so intimidating! Even after all those years I'm still just another amateurish kid. All the fundamentals here, I know them...but it's so fluid and clean.
