You can register for Vidukon now!! Cardiff in April will be ... chilly AWESOME! \o/

I sat down and ripped the movie I'm looking at trying to vid for VidUKon. I don't know if it's a general DRM region build or if it's specific to that one DVD, but I was sitting there scratching my head and muttering "Russian DVD file architecture is really weird." the film was actually in multiple pieces, some featuring different angles, with about six master files rather than one. Weird.

LOL at Russian DVD architecture! I had this really ancient crap movie to vid recently and it was CRAAAAZY in its architecture too. Made me realise how much we assume that what the big companies release is how everyone does it! No. No, it's not.

Oh god, we are the same. I am doing everything in the world except my vid. I don't know what's wrong with my brain that it picks laundry over festivid. Procrastination!

OMG thank goodness I am not aloooooooooooone in festivid procrastination. I have laid, like, two clips. Waaah! It's all in my head but... it doesn't want to come out until it's absolutely goddam necessary!

Entirely likely! We don't expect a stampede... ;) The price will go up a bit on Feb 6 because we have to have numbers pretty definite by then, but before then it should be cool. It'd be lovely to see you again--I may even be sober!! ;)

Yeah, I keep wondering when last-minute panic will set in but clearly: NOT YET.
