With the scenes with Lois/Oliver shown so closely to the Clois ones, it only proved how far superior their chemistry is I knoooooow! It was agony. I was clutching my knuckles and muttering 'oh please, oh please!' in the Lollie scenes and I didn't see the Clois kiss coming at all!
They have served to remove all of her backbone and a great deal of her brain cells, and have her being batty eyed, and air brained every time Clark is around. WTF? I fully expect them to start showing her writing 'Lois and Clark Forever' on her Daily Planet notebooks and then draw a dozen hearts around it. I knooooooooow. *sobs* What have they done to my Lois?!!! It's like she's season 1-2 Chloe or something! I went back and watched some earlier season Lois as therapy and thank goodness I discovered that it's ok, it's not ALL Lois that has been spoiled for me. It's just this season's Lois. The contrast was even more obvious actually.
I honestly do like Tom's acting, he's grown a lot, but Justin is a completely underrated and amazing actor and his acting is very similar to Erica's in that he has the capacity to be very funny and very emotive--sometimes at the same time! He works hard, like she does, and takes the role really seriously. I know Tom does too, but Clark is a more understated character. I really appreciate Justin's and Erica's work on the show, especially considering they weren't permanent for so long, and I think they have tons of chemistry.
I am totally wincing in every Clois scene now! I just try to get through them with my soul intact. LOL. which is not something you EVER want to say about your own ship! But I guess I don't feel that the Clois they are showing us is consistent with or good for either character... so how can I possibly invest in it? I guess there are limits to my shipperness after all! I didn't know that!
LOL at the Twilight analogy! So true! I do NOT LIKE fickle!Lois. Are people loving it? Of course there will be... I'm always at odds with fandom. Sigh. I honestly thought if I got Clois, I'd be happy, but I just like my ships to be character-centred and consistent with the characters the way I fell in love with them in the first place.
