So Friday Night Lights has been renewed. I'm both relieved and excited--Season One was a near-perfect season of television, in my opinion, but there's so much more development possible for the characters and I'm glad we'll get to see that. If you're not already watching the show, I'd highly recommend catching up for season two. (
kristiinthedark and
norwich36, I am fluttering my eyelashes in your direction specifically! *g*)
There are rumours flying that Season 4 will be the last season of Battlestar Galactica. I'd kind of already resigned myself to that possibility.
Smallville fandom seems to have polarised (again! *yawn*) over 'Prototype' and although I stay well away from all the bitchiness on TWOP, the flickers I see of it on LJ sadden me. Particularly the slagging off of the female characters. I couldn't be more delighted with Lois and Lana (in particular) right now. In fact, all the characters are exactly where I want them to be in their arcs at this point in time. So my tolerance for the bitchiness is even lower than usual.
For those of you who enjoyed Prototype, I recommend
literaryll's very squeeful
illustrated review. Also,
clari_clyde has some interesting
spec on Lionel.
And any Oliver fans who haven't seen
obsessive24's
Freestyler vid are missing out!
Question for the SV fen: is there/was there a haiku challenge somewhere? Methinks yes, but I forget where.
