(no subject)
All day today, I have been consulted by MrHair and other supervisory-types about the changes they are making to "improve the work flow". One even told me that I am the best worker my employer has ever sent over, because I understand 'flow', I don't piss anyone off, and am smarter than the rest of them all combined. As I head off to turn in my count sheet at the end of the day, MrHair says, "See you tomorrow, BooZymatic!"
Then I hand in my sheets, and get my Lead to sign my timecard. As he hands my card back to me, he says, "BooZymatic, there's been a change of plans. You won't be here tomorrow. You are to call the office tomorrow morning at 7:00am."
WTF???
I've been trying to convince myself that this is a good thing. Probably they have another client who needs me desperately. But if that was the case, wouldn't they just tell me to report to MrX at such-and-such an address in the morning? Or maybe they want to keep parachuting me into different places, to see how I handle it. If that's the case, just tell me so I don't get upset, frustrated, and all worried-like.
The guys are going to miss me. I've seen MrHair when he doesn't get what he wants, and I certainly wouldn't want to incur that wrath. Tomorrow morning, shortly after 7:00am, could be very interesting.
I know that a good part of my reaction to this is directly related to PMS. But I say again, WTF??
I'm off to sleep, and then go out dancing. I need to dance tonight.
