Adventures in Kijiji Land
So I put an ad on Kijiji for a ride to pick up my Christmas Food Hamper from the extreme south end of the city. Interesting results. I got 6 replies: most wanting $10-20 to drive me there and back, with one saying pay what you want. The funniest one was, and I quote:
hi again...i would need 20 barb..i have a truck...what time do you need this done..im busy till 9-30..then free after that..thx paul....do you have family? i'm 40 ..what about you
Apparently this is not uncommon, but it's still weird.
I went with the "pay me what you want to" person because they were polite, and wrote in actual sentences.
