mmmm tofu

i just ate the best sandwich ever. well, not really ever, but since i have been in denmark. i finally went to the store i can shop at here, a little organic place called pure foods. i asked if a few things were vegan and ended up wth tofu sandwich meat and sausages, crazy danish vegannaise, sun dried tomato pesto, cereal, soy milk, organic juice boxes, soy pudding, and finally some organic fruits and veggies. fucking awesome. i didnt really buy that much and it was about $50, but worth it. the vegannaise has an after taste a bit like lemon pine-sol, but the tofu meat is fucking awesome, even at like 7 dollars a package.

i went out on tuesday since i dont have classes on wednesday. met quite a few more danes, played foosball wiht them all night, and we raped the shit out of every american kid that wanted to play us. it was bitchin. unfortunately, the same danes also had quite a taste for tequilla, which i dont think i will ever be able to drink again. danes really like to buy shots for people, like lots of them. before i came here, i read that everything is very dutch, everyone buys their own drinks, so dont expect people to buy them for you. that is definitely not true, although it is a little more reciprocal.

my two favorite americans here are worth mentioning. i live in this little block of barracks, with a common gym and laundry and bar and such. so i havent really hung out with any americans here, but i have to see them sometimes. my favorite girl is by far "always drunk off my ass and making out with a different american hambone while wearing see-through shirts and flipflops in 50 degree weather" girl. she is incredible. if you are both waiting for the train though, and she has had anything to drink at all, make sure you get on a different car. because she will proceed to be untolerably loud for the whole 30 minute ride to downtown, i havent mentioned the train, but everyone is silent, all the time, no matter what. except large groups of americans, and groups of younger kids who are drunk. also very weird to see groups of 14 year olds all drinking beer on the train, and it being ok. and once in a while someone smoking on it, even though technically you cant. ok, favorite american guy is patrick swayze. this kid cracks me up. he's fantastic. his name is jamie, but he is a replica of patrick swayze. the first time i went to the gym here he was the only one in there and he was riding the bike machine with his ipod on just fucking pouring sweat like he had been on there for 2 hours. as i lift weights and run, he continues to ride as fast as possible while making those really awful gross asshole gym guy noises. like he cant hear himself but its UGGGHHH, pushing harder, UGGGHHHH AHHHHHH so loud i just started laughing. he got down, went outside for some cooldown time, then came back in, proceeded to bench press like a billion pounds over and over while making the same repulsive noises. the other times i have seen him, he was sprinting between the two sections of blocks, making the same noises, dripping sweat, and wearing a see through like soccer jersey thing that is meant to be worn OVER a shirt during scrims and such. then at the kollegium bar on saturday night, which i got dragged down to, he was wasted, pretty hilarious, and kept switching between grinding on bitches and doing the worm. he is incredible.

i am hanging out with mikkel and alex tonight, the two guys i met last weekend who are in the rock band together. hopefully we can go somewhere tonight that i dont have to listen to tool for three hours.
