I just finished reading a good book someone gave me. It's by Michael Crichton called Timeline. I had heard mixed reviews about it, but I enjoyed his book Eaters of the Dead which was the basis for the movie 13th Warrior. I really enjoyed it even the ubber tech stuff in it about quantum physics, because it really makes the whole timetravel thing seem a little more possible. Hell who knows what some of these big lab type companies have hidden in their basements and what far out experiments they might be working on.
Holy crap they just came in to the pod here at work and said we are getting triplets tonight possibly. These are like the 3 or 4th set of triplets we have had in the last couple of months, and they are all natural. I have to ask are these people finding different sexual positions to improve conception because its going alittle to far already. Not to mention the quadruplets we have in the pod already. Enough already people.
I am so looking forward to my days off this week I plan on doing a whole lot of nothing. Manic panic my hair and house work yippeeee. I have a drink date on friday with a guy I met on online dating, we shall see how that goes. Hopefully better than meeting the guy from london who thought I was unlady like and rough around the edges and I should consider feathering my hair. UMMMM Hell no, yes I am a child of the 80's but not the 70's. He also was like do you go out in the sun or are you always this white or is it some goth thing. AHHH like dude I am a night shift worker and rarely go out in the sun, all I have to say is I will not have wrinkles or skin cancer. As for the goth thing I guess it helps but its not like I do it on purpose I am just naturally very fair its my english/french bloodline.
Going to a Marykay party on wednesday afternoon. I can't believe I am doing this expect she is a good friend and just had a baby and feels kinda isolated so I have agreed to go. The good thing is she has some mint and evening primrose for me, which will almost complete the herb garden. Need to plant some bay for protection and that should cover all the things I need right now. I do need to replenish my essential oils though I am getting low on quite a few of them including holy oil. So maybe that will be another afternoon trip this week.
Well must go because they just came in to say that those trip might be here sooner than later which kinda sucks but at least the night will get more exciting.
