Well, then. I think there's a major issue on this entire project which everyone seems to be missing. Namely, how are those of us with more...obscure...interviewees supposed to get in contact with them reliably ( Read more... )

I'm quite sure that Professor Binns has already contacted them to make sure it was fine.

Well, he might have and he might not have, but the matter stands that I am not sure of my reliable contacts.

You're in about the same position, I think. No?

Mr Pettigrew is in Azkaban, I don't think anybody knows the location of Mr Lestrange.

I imagine it's a bit easier to contact Mr Pettigrew, as he probably has ample free time.

I know, actually. Er, both of the proceeding, not Mr Lestrange's current location.

Well, yes, I do imagine. Though I once again reiterate that I doubt that I would answer a summons like, well, that.

Also, while I am not protesting my assignment in the slightest, I do wonder why not everyone has to deal with this. While you and I undoubtably have two of the most interesting choices, I still wonder why some of our classmates got, say, Professor Sprout or Professor Vector or even a painting. Or Weasley's mother.

I mean, if you're going for that level of ease, you might as well have me interview my father. He is of the correct age.

I can pretend to be him and make up answers, if you like. He was rather fond of sheep's-milk cheese and those little fruit hard candies, though he was prone to choking on those if they weren't crushed up enough. I'm sure Percy and Ron would know more.

Actually, I believe it would probably be best to do this honestly.

...I never believed I would actually say those words.

I think you're probably right. It wouldn't really be that interesting to have made-up answers from a rat.

You might tell him from me that I wish Fred really had drowned him

And I rather imagine Professor Binns would not respond all that well to false rat answers.

Especially because, well, how do you make that up? 'I am quite fond of cheese, my boy.'

maybe you could do something nice for him to say thank you for the interview!!!! professor binns could sort out how to get it there and things, and then maybe he'd be more likely to talk to you!!!!
