So, I survived yet another weekend at someone's cottage. This past weekend was Andrew's, he had a gathering of somewhere between 20 and 30 people at his cottage. I really have no idea how many, it's very possible there were more people there than I actually saw. In any event, it was a fair amount of fun, and I am going to talk about it now. Actually, I'm going to do what I've done with pretty much every major event this summer, and give a brief summary that will mean nothing unless you were actually there. So feel free to ask me about it if you catch me online. Or email me. I have nothing to do at work. HELP ME!!!

Ahem.

Return to the Cottage
- Candice and I rock at Cranium
- passing out drunk makes it much easier to sleep
- spilling two year old secrets sucks
- asking for advice when drunk is a bad idea, because then you don't remember it
- the sun hates me
- tubing rocks
- watching someone else tube and launch 8 feet in the air is pretty damn cool
- noodles were an awesome invention
- so were pancakes and bacon
- trying to sleep while still sober on a pull-out couch, when there's drunk people with guitars in the same room, is not possible
- sports bloopers are hilarious
- infomercials with enough people watching are hilarious
- 20-30 people can make a pretty impressive mess of a cottage in three days
- Kawartha Dairy makes damn good milkshakes

And that's about it for the cottage. Except for some pretty interesting dreams, which I am going to recount now:

I, along with 5 other people, were sentanced to some sort of jail/servitude, because we'd pissed off this ruler guy. We tried to escape by driving away really fast, but we ended up getting lost and driving directly to the jail area, which sucked. We had to climb up this really windy staircase, except all the turns were at right angles. But the stairs were really narrow and there was no railing, so we were in constant danger of falling off. Once we got up to the top we were told that our sentence would last until the ruler guy hired someone new. That could be anywhere from months to years, so we weren't impressed. Can't really remember what we were supposed to do, but I know we weren't supposed to go up to the highest level of the jail. So I, of course, did. I had to hide beneath a desk, behind walls, and behind other people at a couple points so I wouldn't be caught. I was in a wheelchair at some point because my legs had gone all weak, which wasn't good when I had to get up and down the stairs. Eventually we were told that the ruler guy had finally hired someone else. It was years later, but things passed really quick, or something. So we were allowed to leave. As we were leaving down the first ramp I'd seen, we saw the new prisoners being brought up. We kind of laughed at them, because we were really mean people. There was a celebration somewhere, and Sab and some other AC people appeared. And...that's it.

The other dream I remember is from last night. I was on The Apprentice. I was actually doing pretty well, because everyone thought I was honest and funny and did a good job. And this one guy started hitting on me. So we started half dating while still on the show. I decided during one task that I was going to spend the whole day analyzing everything in terms of the psychoanalytic/Freudian theory, so talking about the id, ego, and superego. And how everything related to sex. Which all the other contestants thought was hilarious, but Donald Trump wasn't impressed. The task ended up being to design a Formula 1 race car (I think...whichever ones don't look like actual, everyday cars). The girls had to build a red one, and it had nicer wood than the guys' one so I laughed at them, but in a nice way. Then later I somehow ended up being in the movie Batman Begins, which is quite a feat since I haven't actually seen it. But I was living with Katie Holmes and driving to where she worked, or something, but the building was on fire so Batman and I had to rush off to save her. Uhm...it sounds like that's a completely different dream, but some of the Apprentice people were still there, so I dunno.

Anyway, that's about it. My forearms hurt from writing at this stupid keyboard. OC lab, oh how I hate you.

life, dream
