Author's Notes: There’s a point in Casino Royale when Bond says something, and everyone in the audience thinks exactly the same thing.
Giles and M put down their field glasses, and shared a very disturbed look.
M walked to her desk, and pushed the buzzer. “Moneypenny? Get R on the first flight out here, and put a staff psychologist on 24 hour stand-by.”
Giles had reached for his cell phone, and after regarding it with distaste, dialled an American number. “Xander?” he said when it was eventually answered, “Call everyone in and start researching everything possibly connected to Buffy.”
He paused. “Buffy’s about to die again,” he said, voice cracking.
“Bond just said he loved her and asked her to marry him.”
