Ordinary-ness (Inventing a New Vocabulary Word)

Ordinary pretty well describes my day today.

I woke up from some very strange, very disconcerting dreams.  They weren't scary or sad, just weird and disorienting.  I was glad to awaken to my ordinary real-life existence.

I spent the day working on my final essay for class.  I've written about 2/3 of it, and I think it will turn out well.

Went to get Jonathan from school, and then Dave's girlfriend, Bree, came over to watch Netflix for a while before my boys went up to the old armory for their Friday night get together.  It's called Friday Night Alive, and it's a chance for teens to get together to play games and listen to Christian music.  It's a good, clean time of fun, and the couple who run it, Dave and Sherry, have done a wonderful job of running it.

And so, that's it.  Mundane.  Quiet.  Ordinary.  That was my day.  But considering how hard others have it, I will take ordinary over stress.

Good night.
