I was wrong. I kinda want to take a big bite out of him. YUM.
the charged and creepy energy between them was just awesome and perfect
it was. Leoben gets so happy just being able to look at her. To touch her would fuel his fantasies for a millennium. But at the same time I felt fear for Kara. The last time she let real Leoben touch her was after he threatened harm to a toddler. I definitely felt more comfortable later when she was kicking the shit out of him. But on a purely shallow note - Katee/Callum? YOWZA!
And the smackdown later was YEARS of anger and payback: for New Caprica, for MaelstromIt was awesome and I'm so glad Sam had rage against what Leoben had

I'm still in shallow mode so this is definitely where my brain is at right now ;)
But. I now have this empty place in me where I'd hoped Lee would be the one to kick Leoben in the head for what he'd done to Kara.
I know! I totally thought of you and Inescapable Darkness (?), the one where Lee boxes the Leoben line to protect Kara. *sighs*
But logically I know this moment belonged to Sam. Sam is the only one we've seen Kara open up to about Leoben and about her mother and if anyone ever had a right to feel protective of Kara it's Sam.
Totally true. Sam is the one who knows all the shit that she's been through more than anyone, and he loves her so unconditionally, that it makes more sense for him to be delivering the smackdown. Even if I kind of want both Sam and Lee to get a bit of the revenge-action!
And I LOVE your Kara/Lee wet dream plot bunny. You definitely need to write that!
Gaeta is bad ass, my Lee needs to be on screen RIGHT FRAKKING NOW, Helo needs on-our-tippy-toes hugs too, and oh boy was sweaty angry Sam hawt!
I enjoyed both the Kara/Leoben and the Sam/Leoben interactions. CKR is frakking amazing and he always brings it out in others. I need to watch again to have any intelligent thoughts on it. :)
the fact that she IS so different, that she's so lost and ungrounded, makes her so much harder to follow as my POV character. Agh, with you 100%. Not our same girl, not the same eyes to see through. It's bewildering. And I didn't even have my backup POV of Lee to fall back on in this one. :( But I totally agree, they need to get a handle on what she is instead of our old Kara, 'cause right now she is just all over the place. I don't begrudge her some time to figure it out, but it is making it hard for me to hang on to her as tightly as before.
