Badass chicks, aka FUCK YOU SHE'S AWESOME.
I'm not usually much of a meme-girl, but this one coincides perfectly with my new national holiday: celebrating the birth of my teevee girlfriend Katee Sackhoff.
So! First, the meme. Courtesy of super_kc and sundancekid: So I was adding some new interests to my LJ profile (because I, uh... have some new interests. Yes.) and found myself feeling defensive every time I typed a female name, thinking, basically, FUCK YOU, SHE'S AWESOME, because I felt as if someone somewhere was going to be criticizing my love for them.
So, anyway, then I made a list of women who make me want to say FUCK YOU, SHE'S AWESOME. They are far from the only women who are awesome, or the only women people need to be told to step off of, but they are the top ten I feel that way about, right now, off the top of my head.
If you want to argue with me about the awesomeness of any of these women, I am afraid I will simply be referring you to the subject line. THAT IS ALL.

Amber Benson. Because she's gorgeous and smart and funny.
Eliza Dushku. Because she's my other babymamma. And she's going to sex it up on teevee with Tahmoh JUST FOR ME.
Kate Moennig. Because she makes me drool over her skinny ass by the sheer magnificence of her charm and sexassness.
Kristen Bell. Yes, I know she managed to piss off every fangirl on every continent by the end of VM but she still manages to play a very convincing funny and snarky bad-ass on VM and Heroes, so I don't care. FUCK YOU SHE'S AWESOME.
Tina Majorino. She makes me so proud to be a nerd.
Shakira/Beyonce. Because I have a thing for curvy pop sirens. Guilty pleasure y'all.
And a picspam the aforementioned #1 AWESOMEST OF ALL and birthday girl
alissabobissa and canadiangirl_86 have both posted lovely Katee pics too, so I'll avoid any repeats of theirs ( here and here) by doing a smilespam. Because there are few things I love in the world quite as much as Katee's smirksmilegiggle faces.
In other news, you should all go read D's hilarious hugspam/snark/squee-fest over 4.01. Cuz it and she are made of the win. For reals.
