I really liked this episode too. The only thing that bugs me is how with Lee it seems to be back to where he was before, but it's almost like the whole affair thing never happened. I just don't like that. But if I forget about that, I really did like the episode.

I kind of felt that way too--but there was just enough angst and tension when he first looked up and saw Kara waiting after the other pilots had left to show me that he's still very much affected by her.
And I find pilots much more fun when they each have interesting character development and story-lines as individuals going on in addition to their relationship together.
Either way, yay for Kara/Lee actually having a scene together in this one!
OMG YES!!! It was short, but it was a wonderful Season 1 moment. Too bad Adama interrupted or who knows what yummy conversation and/or eyefrakking we would have seen.
Lee looked damn good tonight.
I thought it would be all about Cally and Chief so I'm glad it wasn't. Cally was a lot whiny, but she did think she was going to die. Hey how about the fact that Apollo and Dee are the godparents to Niki? Don't know what I think about that!
So do you think Kara is gonna step up and be CAG while Lee is doing the law thing.
I'm not a Laura/Bill shipper really, but they were very cute together and I got the impression they were kinda talking in code about New Caprica and cabins and what ifs.
Oh and HotDog? That was funny!! Helo gets up and moves over. HA! Wh wasn't Helo sitting next to Sharon though, she was there.
Laura wants Lee cuz he knows the difference between right and wrong. Awe. Lee and Papadama were great. "That was during one of my angry at Dad phases" Awe.

I love how Kara sat--with one knee drawn up and resting her foot on the seat, so hot! And she smirked and fidgeted with her pen and I bloody well MELTED!
That moment made me a bit awestruck as well. And damn, if it wasn't entirely, overtly sexual - combined with the low bedroom voice she used when flirting with him after the breifing... i'm getting the impression that she wants to remind Lee just what he missed out on. Hotness.
So apparently, if you're married and/or have a baby on Galactica you get the extra-huge living quarters.
You know, i just don't get how that is entirely fair. I get married couples needing private quarters. I get needing more room for a baby. I just don't get how it is okay that single people be almost discriminated against, and given a bunk and a locker as their personal space. Doesn't seem fair in the slightest, especially when compared to the immense size of the married personel's quarters. I wouldn't want to be single on Galactica, that's for sure.

Doesn't seem fair in the slightest, especially when compared to the immense size of the married personel's quarters. The only thing I can figure is that the set designers developed a room for one of the married couples and figured they might as well use it for the others--but it would make more sense for Lee/Dee to have a huge room because Lee is/was a senior officers, than for Helo/Sharon and Chief/Cally to have that kind of space and luxury. And what's up with the gray satin sheets on all the beds? This is supposed to be spartan military living peoples!
