Wheeeee for teevee

Sorry for no vid this Saturday because I got swamped by schoolwork this week! Fear not nebakanezer, I've made notes for my two Nickelback vids for you--hopefully I'll get to make those soon ;)

And I got some crazy pr0n-ish plot bunnies in my head when I was clipping BSG "The Captain's Hand" this week: please somebody tell me that there is some amazing femslash out there with Kara and that pretty pretty Captain Case from the Pegasus? Otherwise, I might be forced to write it myself.

Brief picspam to illustrate need for aforementioned femslash:
See, she's pretty.

A little too much make-up, but pretty.

And this scene right here, with the sleeveless amazingness of these two gorgeous women--is what put the pr0n plot-bunny in my brain. Desk!sex anyone?

Maybe even a little PWP retcon where it's Case watching Kara's stunning pushup's of hotness (instead of Lee)?

So. Hot. Can't. Stop. The. Drooling.

And now back to This-Week-In-TV...

Smallville:

Damn, how did I never notice Lana's ring before--that is some crazy bling!

Freak-of-the-week: The visual effect on the blind guy who can see meteor-freeks was pretty nifty. So he can't see Clark cuz Clark's an alien and not just infected? "most normal guy I ever met"? Hmmmm...teh hubby was a bit annoyed with this FOTW because it apparently rips off some marvel-universe character or something. Who knows.

Super-hero stuff: Clark's super-breath! That was awesome! Very nice use of all the powers in this episode--I dug the heat vision surgery and the bullet-time in the climax scene.

Chloe: Hmmm...I'm intrigued by the "walking-time-bomb" idea. They sure as hell better use that plot device to its fullest extent when they cash in on that! Chloe has to die by the end of the series' run to fit in with superman lore, but bitch better go out with a bang, not with a whimper--she's probably my favorite character on the show right now (she definitely wins amongst the good guys in Ollie's absence, and Lex is a super bad-ass but it's different).

33.1 and Chloe: Whoa. That's two Clockwork-Orange visuals on my shows recently. Though why the big-ass needle in the stomach for the "DNA extraction"--all you need for that is a swab of cheek cells or something. Don't get me wrong: the scene looked awesome, the lighting and the blurriness of Chloe's perception all looked really sharp. But big-nasty-needles: pointless and overly Matrix-derivative.

Lana: I lovedlovedloved Lana's face during her examination of the bullet. I really dig where they're taking her character right now as far as her curiousity about Clark is concerned: that she is now willing to patiently and slowly explore to find out his secret without expecting either Clark or Chloe to tell her.

The Office:

There wasn't anything specific that jumped out from this episode to scream "Joss directed this!", but I loved it as much as usual and I'm sure he contributed to that somehow :)

"Poop is raining from the ceiling--POOP!"

As always, Michael was amazingly cringeworthy: The 4 kinds of business (because railroads are a major industry and sooo important). Michael hurling candy bars! An "ebony tower"! "So suck on that". His best line of the night: The "Pollack-says-what index". Holy shit--I couldn't believe they actually did that.

And Dwight's crusade against the bat--with Creed as his evil sidekick, no less, forms an "allegiance" to use sudden violence and make stakes out of mop handles--while Jim slowly worked the fake-vampire gag! "one crisis at a time...Jim is on a path now...an eternal journey." And then Dwight in all the battle gear against the bat: "hold still woman!"

Poor Pam! First there is the complete lame-boyfriend factor of Roy: "Wow. Your art was the prettiest art of all the art. It's okay if I bail right?". And then she got totally burned by Oscar and gay-boy-toy: "courage and honesty...not Pam's strong point." Dayum! But her face right before she hugs Michael was what killed me. Faaaaaaaaaaace.

Bones:

Holy shit I love Stephen Frye. Seriously. Wilde. Cold Comfort Farm. Jeeves and Wooster. And now Bones. THE MAN CAN DO NO WRONG.

As Booth's shrink no less! "Until I'm satisfied that you won't start firing at confectioners again." "Your bilious socks and your ostentatious ties and your provocative belt-buckles" I cracked up at his idea of the belt-buckle as a modern day cod-piece--"it forces the eye to the groin". I love him!

Also loved Angela's small-penis crack: "Maybe he's got unlimited mileage. That'll make up for the fact that he's a sub-compact."

And Booth's small admission of jealousy at Brennan's boyfriend and his, um, well-equipped-ness: "I'm going to need a flashier tie"

Lost:

This might just be my favorite episode of the season, if for no other reason than the sense of complete "WHOA" that it instilled in me.

Desmond! Time-travel-flashbacks!

It was a total mindfuck and I freakin loved it. I almost lost it in that scene in the jewelry shop.

Definitely the best source of happy-WTF moments this week.
