In all my dreams, it's never quite what it seems...

I had a really weird dream last night. Those of you who know me know of the "protective leather coating" that I have on my feet (for those of you that don't, my feet have huge calluses on them). It's very handy to have leatherfeet. I can walk on glass and fire and feel nothing (or at least I'm sure I could). I could use my feet to stop bullets. Need something fetched from a vat of acid? I'll just put my feet in the vat and monkeytoe it out.

In my dream last night, I went to the podiatrist with my mom and aunt. The doctor took a look at my feet, cringed, then reached over and pulled this HaYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGE chunk off of one of them. It looked like a boneless chicken breast. Then she made me get undressed (I don't know why) in front of everyone so she could chastise me about not having a general practicioner to prescribe me antibiotics to take care of this "problem."

And then I woke up.

Still feeling a little mopey about last night, but then I started thinking about how uninterested he seemed to be about my talk of going to the derby today.  I got a laugh out of him when I described the persona I have created should I decide to try out. Other than that, NOTHING.

I'm just not used to getting flat affect from people.  :S
