I did gut the fish (thinking that if Susan Walker can do it on an island with a penknife, I should probably manage it in a kitchen with a sharp knife). It wasn't nearly as messy and unpleasent as I expected, probably because it was only a mackerel without many innerds. I don't think I'd want to have a go at a salmon or a large trout. And I am glad that I didn't have to behead it.
I am trying to get used to having short hair again. Not that it was particularly long before, but the haordresser thinned it out a lot to make it less heavy (very CS!) and shaped it. I think I like it, but it takes some time getting used to any new haircut.
And finally...I did go to netball, got saturated but mostly enjoyed it (despite the ball kept slipping through everyone's hands), and had the trainer tell me I had improved vastly since I started! I'm still not very good, but nice to know I'm gradually getting better.
