This hasn't been a great morning - overslept, way too tired, blah blah blah. And to top it all off, I've got a lyrics earwig from my dreams that is driving me crazy. I get in to work, type the lyrics into trusty Google and eventually find this site: www.yelp.com/topic/san-francisco-what-is-your-saddest-song

Maybe the people saying "Fix You" saw the Young@Heart on PBS, where it was going to be a duet with two octogenarian singers, until one of them died the week before the show. Then it was a solo.

It was a surprisingly good little documentary: Young@Heart.

*sniffle* that was heartbreaking in all the right ways - the audience singing along, a sea of white shirts, soft and dignified accompaniment, the little portable O2 tank puffing along like some kind of metronome... Thank you so much for the link. I'm going to have to get a hold of this.

The audience members they show at about 2:20 are the daughter and granddaughter of the man who died, I think.

It's been showing on PBS a bunch, but I think it may have run its course... but you can always put in your zip code and check if it's running again near you.
