Today work went really fast, partially as a result of me being super hyper (since early last night...), and partly cause I sent the Edwards campaign a "What's happening?" e-mail, and I'm also going to Bakersfield on Friday (after my history final...) for a CYD/CCD retreat and trying to find a ride, via e-mail/facebooking people... So I kept checking my e-mail once a shift, public computers in the library are so pretty. I felt vaguely bad (I completed my hour stuff, I just checked my e-mail before coming back as promptly as I'm technically supposed to), until I came back one time to my boss checking craigslist, and trying to figure out where he's living next year.

I finally called them, they "discussed" my application this morning, and it looks good, and said they'll call me in the next "24-48 hours" to tell me yay or nay, and thanked me for being so persistent (with a phone call and e-mail)... So who knows? My fingers are permanently crossed, it would allow me to spend half my summer working at the library and taking the classes I want full time, coming to Sac basically whenever I want, and the other half traveling and working my tail off on a presidential campaign. No, please do not spout poll numbers to me, I like Edwards, he also has the side benefit of the session system (half a summer instead a whole one thing), and is taking people such as myself who don't have the requisite rec letters, which are hard to get unless you have more experience than I currently do.
Studying tonight, I swear. Major review of European History stuff which I despise, reminding myself that it's the last time I have to care about Renaissance history in Europe and what Karl Marx did or did not say.
