Day of Silence, ASUC elections.

Day of Silence was noneventful here, people seem to know about it vaguely but I kept having to explain it through notecards that my boss gave me, I made it this time, though that might have a tiny bit to do with stubborness combined with not really knowing a TON of people here so who's there to really need to talk to?

I worked on my paper til 1 am and then decided to finish it in about an hour and a half this morning, it's a paper, or has all the aspects of one, though there is really not that much that is similar between the letters of a woman who, let's face it, abandoned her children but is trying to write them helpful things from her life in San Francisco and trying not to rub it in that SF IS BETTER (her comment not mine), and a German immigrant fighting in the Mexican War. I'm not sure that my paper is profound but it exists and much to the dismay of my sleeping (well not so much now...) roommate since due to printer difficulties I had to print it out twice...

CalSERVE won three of the five executive slots, essentially all the ones that were endorsed by the Daily Cal, but only 6 of the 20 Senate slots :( I had three friends of sorts who were running, 2 won and the one I was majorly working for lost, which is frustrating. The last time I was on the side of a winning campaign was in the primary against Westly... :/

I really want to go back to sleep but instead I have to start the day. It's weird thinking that I won't be home again until after finals and weirder still to think that there are two and a half more weeks of class left. I can't wait til Convention next weekend in San Diego :D
