My job=super glamerous
This morning I, along with the rest of the library staff and good many of the patrons, have spent around 20 minutes wandering about sniffing the air and asking "where is that smell coming from?".
Conclusion. We have no idea. Hopefully it won't kill us.
One of the circ clerks is wearing a medical face mask to keep out the smell. We've turned on all the fans. And now we're just hoping it goes away. Our maintenance men have told us it's because "they just came and emptied the dumpster". But they do that all the time and trust me, I would remember this smell. Unless there was a dead body in that dumpster this is not a normal dumpster smell.
My job is so weird sometimes. And kinda gross.
