Differences in the timeline:
I have talked this out with my canon mate and we have decided things. Certain roles the 14th will be taking over, and some will remain as Kuzu's.
Pre-canon, their lives are completely swapped, Allen lived Rabi's life and Rabi lived Allen's life, Kuzu traveled with Bookman and had his 49 alias's and met Doug and all that. However Doug's novel is set back slightly, it did not occur as Allen was in the rewinding town as it did in the novel. It occurs before the mission in Matel. That mission is still the same, Kuzu went and he tried to protect Lala and Gozuro and failed and his arm went all crazy and evolved, which Bookman was not happy about, Kuzu is not an apostle! The rewinding town was also the same, with less face stabbing. Rhode also does not have the crush on Kuzu that she does on Allen in the original manga, as Kuzu wasn't so interesting with his akuma!dad and angst and Jesus-ness. The search for Cross was the same, with Kuzu and the 14th getting dragged off to Crowley's castle. The real differences come when Suman falls. Rabi briefly awakened from the 14th and was carted off by the akuma on that ship instead of Allen. He and Lenalee fought together and Kuzu stayed on the ship with Bookman and Crowley and attempted to fight off the akuma and protect the crew. As such, Ticky never destroyed his Innocence andKuzu never received Crown Clown. Then they went off to Edo, and the events of the Ark happened. The Allen Vs Ticky/Rhode Vs Rabi fight was reversed, with the 14th fighting Ticky and Kuzu getting brutally mind raped by Rhode and then attacking the 14th before managing to snap himself out of it. Instead of Ticky's attempted exorcism, the 14th attacked his mind with a soundwave and broke his head for a bit, which got Rhode angry. Then Cross showed up and Kuzu fell through the Ark with Chaoji instead of Rabi, and the 14th found his piano room and saved them all and everything was good! There was no big Vatican meeting with Link being appointed as a Vatican stalker after these events, that happened way back when the 14th first joined the Order. There was, however, debate on the use of the Ark and such.
