I don't think it's lasting and I'm sure it's because of a variety of different things, but generally right now I'm not feeling the fandom vibe for anything (with the noted exceptions below). Not even Merlin. Which is not to say that well and truly inspired Merlin fans like keymash and cherprudence should hesitate to gush at me. I LONG FOR YOUR ENTHUSIASM

Did you read House of the Scorpion? It think it came out in 2005. It is EXCELLENT.

Nancy Farmer is so great. I own all of her books. "The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm" is definitely the best.
