So, LJ just told me that this entry is a finalist for their 10 year anthology.

In recent years *sighs fondly* LJ and I have had our differences, but lately they've done a lot of things right, and right now they are spotlighting verb_noire, which makes me out and out love them again, so it is with great affection that I make this post ( Read more... )

You are misreading the entry, small fan. what is *your* favorite entry, not what is your favorite entry of mine. I'm trying to make it easy for you, since I know if I asked you what your favorite of mine was, you would never be able to pick. I know there are so, so many.

Uh, I don't have an entry, because I pretty much never ever memory things or tag them. I am just here to tell you to forget all this Merlin nonsense and watch Kings.

Aja, watch Kings. IT IS AMAZING AND BIBLICALLY GAY and not that big of a commitment because it will probably get cancelled pretty quickly. Because it is TOO AMAZING FOR AMERICA TO HANDLE. Where is toko, he will back me up.

Jonathan (= Jack) is not the villain! I actually read an interview with the writer where AfterElton.com were like, SERIOUSLY ARE YOU DOING THE PANSY-ASS VILLAIN THING, and he was pretty adamant that he is not. Also he was talking about how... obviously... a lot of people know this story already, but that he doesn't want to execute it in such a way where you can just go read the Bible or check Wikipedia and then be like, "Oh, I know exactly how XYZ is going to happen."

I mean, that's... sort of what Rome did as well, tbh. They got you to most of the important history-book pit-stops, but they sure as hell took some liberties along the way for the sake of the story.

ANYWAY, the series already has a clearly defined villain for this arc, anyway, and I am pretty sure they are doing what they are doing with Jackathan to a) set him up as a foil for David now so that their eventual epic gay BFFdom is even more epic and gay, and b) laying the groundwork for conflict with Saul (=Silas). ALSO ALSO spoiler: after only trying to have him killed ( ... )

I was just looking back at old entries and I find it hilarious that the day David asked me to marry him I made two posts. One saying I was getting married and one posting Harry/Draco fic for you.

But this is my favorite memory.
