You're welcome! X3 I also read the other Hikaru-Akira one that you posted up, and really enjoyed that as well. ♥ I can't wait until you post up your next finish fic. ;D
Awwww. I love them so. That fic, the one i'm working on, is actually sort of a roman-a-clef (a story with a "key" to the way you read it)... i'll be interested to see if you or anyone notices what it is! :D
I'm so dense that I probably would never notice it, but I'll be interested to know if anyone else does get it! XD It sounds like that would be very fun to write, actually. :3
It's my maternal grandmother's maiden name. I used to go by Rennie for my first name since it's my paternal grandmother's maiden name. I cut it down to Havs/Haverstock for more convenient online use though. ;3
Mm! I think I noticed that before, but I'll definitely keep it in mind. Thanks! :)
that is a lovely maiden name! Although i really like Rennie too. I never actually thought of the significance of maiden names.
...I actually don't know my paternal grandmother's maiden name. I actually don't even know any part of my paternal grandmother's name. Wow. That bears some thinking about.
I think so, too! I really liked them when I was first told what they were, and I guess they just stuck with me. :3 I haven't ever really thought about their significance either, but thinking about it now it's like... my grandmothers used to be different people when they were younger. They used to be known by a name other than the ones they have now. It's like a symbol of their past, and what they've given up to evolve to what they are today, if that makes any sense. X3
Oh, really? You should find out! It's really neat to know them, because then you can find links to all sorts of other things! My Dad found out that Rennie is the surname of a person who worked on the Eifel Tower, or something along those lines. Surnames hold a lot of information. |3
