I recently discovered an author, Ahdaf Souief, an Egyptian writer and she is simply amazing. I read her book I Think of You a collection of some of her short stories that were knitted together beautifully. I am now reading her book In the Eyes of the Sun. Has anybody else read her work? If not, I highly recommend it! :)

Book 1: Falling Man: a Novel by Don DeLillo, 2007. 246 pages. In this short novel DeLillo focuses upon a New York family and examines how in the days, months and years that follow 9/11 they deal with their experiences. I had a mixed response to it.
