The following two photos are perfect illustrations of my all-time number 1 pet peeve in the world of bookselling. More so than, "I'm looking for a book..." or people who leave stacks sitting next to chairs. More than children on those damn skate shoes or customers who know neither title nor author. This is the ultimate in customer disregard for the work that bookstore employees do, knowing EXACTLY where the book they want to put back came from but being too lazy or rude to put it in the right way. This makes me want to kill people....
