I saw an installation of Field once in Salisbury Cathedral. Gnarly. I believe that's a series of rotting piers though.

Well, it was years ago, there was nobody at the desk and we just wandered in all customer like without reading the signs. I also took a load of pictures before spotting a sign forbidding photography. Ooops.

Ach, it's a well-known, scientific fact that being a customer invalidates any former ability to read signage.

BTW I did see a TV programme, some kind of panel show, the other day, and it had a segment called TATE or Tat? Almost universally the panelists were very bad at figuring out which photos were of artwork which had been displayed in the Tate and which were just random worthless objects.

I still think it bizarre to charge an entrance fee to go into a church, however pretty. Very nice church it was, though.
