You will be missed
I woke up this morning to see that Books-A-Million was on my caller ID for 4 seperate calls that I apparently slept through. It being my only day off in the week I was slightly annoyed thinking I was being called in, but that was not the case.
Last night, Rico who was the back room specalist passed away from a heart attack. He had been having some heart problems lately and we all tried to let him rest by helping him with everything if not doing it for him just so he can get some much deserved rest.
Rico was a hell of a man, and I am not lying when I say that everyone respected him. He never complained, never got angry, never talked bad about anyone, and always worked hard even when he was sick.
Sadly, he got sick often and I suppose it did not help his condition especially with all the physical work that is required in the receiving area.
I knew Rico and worked with Rico for almost 2 years and I know nothing will be the same now that he is gone, and I know that his passing will affect us all at BAM for quite some time.
