Or you have the best of intentions about returning the book or books promptly, but somehow Time just slips away from you.

Thank you for this article -- it reminded me I need to go get a library card.

On the one hand, George was known for his honesty...

... on the other hand, he was also known for being a penny-pincher.

So, while I do have faith that George will eventually return the books in question, he's probably going to wait until the NY Public Library offers a "General Amnesty".
