Fred wouldn't have really minded if they didn't get much packing done, but she also knew that the sooner they finished, the more time they could spend together. And ohhhhh, did she want to spend as much time with him as she could.

Gasping, she tilted her back as his lips found her breast. She had been dreaming about him doing this to her again for the last week, and finally, he was there, and he was doing it, and she was in heaven. Soon, she found herself being picked up and layed out on the bed. Looking up at the man who was going to be her husband, she felt a rush of love and need surge through her.

"Many times, but I like hearing it," she said, shuddering under his touch and opening her legs more to give him better access. "We're together again now."

Once he was inside her, she closed her eyes. She loved how he felt in her, filling her up, and when he began to thrust, she felt wrapped in love. Moaning, she raised her hips to meet each of his strokes.

"You're pretty amazing yourself," she panted, the knot in her stomach beginning to tighten when his hand slipped between them. Gazing up into his eyes, she suddenly found herself nudging him over, so she could roll on top of him. With an impish smile, she pushed herself upright over him and brought herself down on him again. Giles' hand moved between them again, and she groaned in pleasure and approval, riding him faster while skating that edge until his thumb pressed hard against her.

"Rup-Rupert," she gasped, her body beginning to shudder in release.

Giles was surprised when Fred pushed him over and took control of their love-making. It turned him on even more and he could feel himself become harder, something he didn’t think was possible. One of his hands softly massaged her breasts as the other stroked her nub. When he felt her tightening around he let out a strangled growl and push up even harder.

When Fred tumbled over the edge, Giles pressed himself against the bed. His own orgasm followed shortly after. He took a deep breath and tried to calm the rapid beating of his heart. “Bloody hell, Fred,” he whispered before pulling her down for a deep kiss. He kept her there, against him, and softly stroked her back.

“I love you,” Giles said, nuzzling her hair. His fingers ran up and down her spine and he decided he was never going to let her go again. “I hate to burst the mood, but will you be ready to leave on Sunday? I think I need to be back by Monday and I don’t want to leave you behind again. Also… do you… do you want to just live with me instead of the Council housing? I-I mean… only if you want.”

His warmth flooded her as Fred came down of her high, her trembling slowly stopping. Before she could even take a breath, he had her down against and was kissing her deeply, causing a few last shudders to ricochet through her. They finally had to pull apart for breath, though, and she allowed him to keep her resting against him, closing her eyes while his fingers traced patterns across her back.

"I've been dreaming about us doing this for a whole week," she whispered to him. And as much as she liked it when they made love, she liked this just a much, laying against him, listening to his heart beating.

"I can be ready by Sunday. The shipping company is coming Friday to pick up everything and..." She raised her head to look at him when she realized what he had just asked. "Live with you? Of course I want to live with you. We're going to get married, and as far as I understood that meant we'd want to live with each other; otherwise, it'd be a very strange marriage with me in Council housing and you at your flat..." She realized she had started rambling again and stopped herself, shaking her head. "Let me say this again: yes, Rupert, I want to live with you. Very, very much."

Giles listened to Fred ramble, an endearing smile on his face. His fingers ran through her hair and he furrowed his brow. She was talking about them getting married as if they were going to do it the following week. “Good,” he said, in deep thought. “I don’t think I could spend another night without you by my side.”

He carefully rolled them over so they were on their sides. Giles needed to see her face when he brought up the next subject. Pushing the hair off her face, he smiled at her. “I want to get married as soon as possible,” he admitted while looking into her eyes. “I know all of this has been a bit whirlwind but don’t you think it would be perfect, considering how all of this has happened.”

Giles leaned forward and softly kissed her. “It won’t happen right away. We won’t go back to England and do it since we need to get the proper paperwork, but it can happen soon. Maybe a couple of weeks. We could do it at my house in Bath. Your parents can come. It wouldn’t have to be big. Just something with us and our friends and family,” he said, sitting up. “But only if you want to, love. Personally I can’t wait to start my life with you.”

"I don't want to either. Don't think I could sleep in the Council Housing knowing that you were somewhere else," she said softly.

She moved when Rupert nudged them, settling onto her side on the mattress, facing him in the hotel room's slightly yellowish light. He wanted to marry here within a few weeks. She hadn't thought about how fast they might get married, but he was right, considering how fast everything had progressed between them. They had gotten engaged so soon that waiting a long time to get married didn't seem right.

"I really like that idea," she told him, propping her head up on one hand and reaching out to rest the other on his chest. "I like the idea of getting married at your home in Bath and having our friends and family there. School ends here in a few weeks at the beginning of June, so Mom will be on break for the summer from that point, and I know she and Dad would be there in a heartbeat. Maybe we can marry in the mid-June if we get all the paperwork done."

Leaning forward, she kissed him softly before pulling back again to look into his eyes.

"I can't wait to be your wife."

“And I can’t wait to be your husband,” Giles whispered before leaning forward to nibble on her bottom lip. “Your parents can stay at my house in Bath when they come for the wedding. I wouldn’t want them to have to stay in a hotel.” He kissed her again, loving he feel of her mouth against his. How he’d lived without her was beyond him.

He adjusted himself on the bed and pulled her closer. Giles was tired, after hardly getting any sleep after Fred had left. Yet, he didn’t want to fall asleep just yet. “A demon killed him,” he quietly said. “Professor Siedel. I-I spoke to Mary Harris, who’s the end of the Physics board and said I was an investigator. I said we’d gotten information about Siedel killing his students and that one of the students had parents who were part of a top organization in England. She agreed to help us. After I got everything from him, my friend released a Bortez demon on him. Bortez demons tend to tear their victims apart and--”

Giles paused and sighed. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have told you that,” he quietly said. “If you haven’t figured it out, I sometimes speak before I think. You have permission to yell at me and call me a git.”

Fred had just settled herself again against Giles, pillowing her head on his shoulder, when he told her what had happened to Seidel in the end. As he spoke, she felt her breath catch in her throat. Not only was Seidel gone, but he was dead. She had sort of suspected when the news had reported that Seidel had been listed as missing, but she hadn't really known for sure until this moment.

Raising her head, she looked into his eyes, seeing the pain there. Part of her knew that it had needed to be done - Seidel had been responsible for the deaths of at least six people. But another part of her found it hard to process - Rupert had allowed a demon to kill someone because he had hurt her.

He had done it because he loved her. He had done it because the man was a murderer. He hurt people.

In many ways, Seidel had been more of a demon than some of the demons she had met. He was the reason she had spent so many nights afraid, so many days running. He had sent her to hell. He had sent six other people to their deaths.

Rupert had made sure it wouldn't happen to a seventh.

"I would never call you a git," she told him, her voice catching a bit in her throat. "I'm...I'm glad that you told me. You needed to tell me - I can see it in your eyes." Wrapping her arms around him, she held him tightly, resting her forehead against his. "You did what had to be done. If he had been allowed to live, some lawyer would have gotten him off somehow, and he would have done it to someone else."

In his heart Giles knew he did it for Fred. If any other person would’ve told him about Siedel, Giles knew he would have just sent someone else to take care of the professor. It didn’t matter right now though. He would tell her someday about his time in London with Ethan but not now. They were just beginning their lives together. He would tell her before the got married.

He pulled her closer, enjoying the comfortable silence that filled the room. Giles’ fingers stroked over her body as he kissed the top of her head. His thoughts went to all the things he wanted to show her once she was settled. Giles’ aunt still owned the family house and he wanted to show Fred it. He also wanted her to take her to Devon and have her meet the women of the coven. Giles knew they would view Fred as strong and willful.

He was about to pull back and suggest they have some of the cake Trish had sent with them when his phone started to ring. “Sorry,” he apologized at he looked at the caller ID. It was Willow and he knew he needed to answer it. She was still getting used to her new status and sometimes just wanted to chat with him. “Willow?”

“Hey, Giles. Do you know where Fred is?”

“Uh, why would I know that?” he asked, getting a little nervous.

There was a slight pause and then Willow laughed. “I’ve been trying to get a hold of her all day on her cell so I just called her parents’ house and they said she was with you,” Willow said. “I just need to speak to her for a couple of minutes. I have a question about the lab. And then the two of you can get back to whatever you two do.”

“Yes, of course,” Giles said, giving Fred an apologetic look. He held the mobile out for her. “It’s Willow and she wants to speak to you.”

Fred was glad when she felt Rupert relax a bit as they lay there. She really was glad he had told her about Seidel because now she wouldn't be worrying that Seidel was out there somehow, someway.

Instead, they could focus on their new life together and their jobs at the Council. It was a new start in so many ways, and she planned to enjoy every moment of it and every moment they spent together. Somehow, things had worked out for the best.

She was surprised when Giles' phone started ringing but stayed where she was as he answered the phone. Her eyebrows raised when she heard him say Willow's name and she looked over at the clock. It was in the middle of the night. She hoped that nothing was wrong.

Then he held the phone out to her. "She wants to talk to me?" she asked, confused. Reaching out, she took the phone and held it up to her ear. "Willow? What's going on? Isn't it really late there?"

"You still claiming you weren't all clinchy in his office last week?"

Fred's brow furrowed in disbelief. "You called Rupert to ask for me to ask me that?"

"Well, no, actually I did need to ask you if you thought if you could use a spectral analyzer in the lab. I managed to locate one at a really good price but didn't know if you actually needed it. I just found it quite interesting that I had to call Giles to find you...and that Giles has apparently been addressing people by the name of Fred all week."

"Oh, God. People?" Fred dropped her head down to her forehead against Giles' chest.

"Okay, only Dawn, but still..."

Fred decided to just answer the lab question and pray that Willow would get the hint. "The spectral analyzer would be great if you can get it."

"Okay, will do. You and Giles have fun not being all clinchy. See you when you get back to England."

"Bye, Willow." After she had pressed the end button to hang up on the call, Fred passed the phone back to him, feeling her face burning with embarrassment. "I...I think that our secret might not be so much a secret by the time we actually get back. Dawn told Willow about your slip...and I think Willow definitely suspects that we've been...clinchy."

“Clinchy, huh? I do suppose we’ve been clinchy several times,” Giles chuckled. He reached over and softly touched Fred’s warm cheeks. “I do believe this is my fault for calling Dawn by the wrong name. However, Willow said she’d called your parents and they told her you were with me. Guess there wasn’t anyway around it.”

He pulled her against him, feeling the day starting to catch up with him. “Could’ve been worse… if Anya were still alive, she would’ve called you my orgasm buddy,” he said with a small smile. “Speaking of Anya, I think I need to take Xander out when we get back to England. Perhaps Willow and you could come with. He hasn’t done much of anything, except play games with Andrew. Anya and him were together but she died in Sunnydale during the fight with the First. I worry about him.”

Giles reached over and turned off the bedside lamp and snuggled down on the bed with Fred. “Just so you understand, when you marry me, you’re going to get an instant family with Buffy, Dawn, Willow, and Xander. I do believe you’ll get along the best with Dawn.” He softly yawned and kissed Fred on the head. “And of course Faith is lurking around also. We don’t really get along too well. I don’t know if Wesley, Angel or Cordelia mentioned her or not. I do know she was in Los Angeles at one time and was hired by Wolfram and Hart to kill Angel. I believe she hurt Wesley but I wasn’t told a lot about what happened.”

"No, I guess not," Fred agreed. Besides, Willow had had her suspicions since last week, so she supposed her friend was going to get it out of them sooner or later. She looked up, though, when Giles used the word "orgasm buddy". She was quite glad that no one had used that term for them yet - it made clinchy seem fine by comparison.

"I didn't know Xander had lost someone he loved as well," Fred said, remembering the young man she had met the day of the "interview" at the Council building. "His eye...that's easy to see, but I didn't..." She understood why he worried about him - Giles had lost Jenny, Xander had lost Anya. He had to know the kind of pain the other man was going through. If you'd like us to come along, I'm sure Willow would agree, and I'll be glad to."

When he spoke about the others in his--their family, Fred smiled. She was looking forward to meeting the others. Rupert cared enormously about them; they meant a great deal to him. It was going to be nice to be part of an extended family like that again.

"I met Faith a few months ago after she broke out of jail. Came down to Los Angeles to find out if we knew anything about the assassination attempts on her life. Ended up helping us with Angelus while I called Willow for help. She was...interesting. Don't know if she liked me too much, though." Fred bit her lip at the thought that the Slayer she had met had hurt Wesley in any way. "I--I didn't know that she had...that she had done something to Wesley. No one ever mentioned that."
