Fanfic Challange: Twelve Again.

Since i realized I can post challenges here I wanted to post my latest one.

Starts off in 2000 or so after (probably no further than 2004).
a couple or more so years after the defeat of Voldemort.

Reactions (side-affects) from the Horocruxes begin to occur. The conclusion being that they went about the destruction of them incorrectly (diary, ring, locket, cup, diadem, nagani, Harry).
The solution is to go back when the first Horocrux was destroyed- the diary. (While RAB recovered the locket earlier on, it wasn't destoyed until 1998.)
Thus Ron and Hermione travel back to 1992/93 back to their 12/13 yr old bodies with all their memories intact.

Now one of the main points of this story is that Ron and Hermione were a couple in 200x and they are basically to stay a couple. If they are engaged or whatever it is up to you. However, they are not to be married yet and thus definately no kids on the way.

Ron and Hermione are to keep their real ages from Harry so not to alter too much of his prophesy and destiny. And really to keep an eye out for him and support him.

However they are to tell chosen Order members. (Cause yes one of the reasons for this fic is to have two little kids instruct the adults with bouts of knowledge.) 
The Older Weasley brothers are to find out and probably through evesdropping Fred and George find out.

Ron and Hermione are eventually frustrated and don't know what to do with their relationship since both are now before the onslaught of puberty and even thinking of doing anything physical before a number of years is just seriously wrong.

Requirements and Suggestions:

• -It's in essence a RW/HG story so no romance changes through the years.
• -They are stuck in this time line. They can't go back to their own future timeline since they must change the one they are now part of.
• -They can't defeat Voldemort right at their second year repeat. It could happen sooner than in the books but Harry must be emotionally, physically, mentally prepared to do his final battle.
•       -Since they are going back and will have to alter the future anyway- they would want to save lives. Though at the same time they want to alter Harry as little as possible. Thus, what to do with Sirius and Cedric. Now, if they save them noticibly they'd think it might alter Harry too much thus they'd have to take their actual deaths into the equation. So they can appear to die but then must go the next number of years (until the defeat of Voldemort) away from it all or under the guise of another person.
• -Of course, RW and HG can't remember everything so they are not going to be able to save everyone from all death and mishaps.
•  
• -A scene (if not more) where the now young RW and HG are instructing the selected Order members on the future and plans. And, of course, how the older ones react to such a scene, the disbelief and finally being informed.
• -Molly should definately have some kind of reaction, especially when they give information on their (RW/HG) lives together. Look how she treats HG in book 4. 
• -Sometime after Fred and George find out they approach Ron for relationship/sex advice. (I just find this terribly amusing to picture with those to being seemingly older and approaching their "little" brother about it.)
• -RW/HG (one or both) sitting around with Bill and/or Charlie and discussing things as if in the same age group. BW&CW will feel akward at times and RW/HG would get kicks off their squimishness.
•  op     -Conversation can of course be done with Remus and Sirius as well but not required. I'm sure they'd have time on their hands to do so. SB would be more receptive since he is not in the classroom with them and since he spent all those years in Azkaban his mentality is younger anyway.
•  
• -RW and HG discussing/complaining about going through the stages of puberty again. I'd assume after all the years together they would be comfortable and amused to talk about it.
• -HG still gets to go to the Yule Ball with Viktor Krum. HG being the older woman that she is feels weird about it and RW teases her for being a pedophile even though she keeps underlining the fact that he is of age.
•   op    -I would like to see time where they go to HG's house. Her parents don't have to be let in on the secret.
• -The teachers who are in on the secret, I'm sure, would like to have some fun at HG and RW's expenses at school.
• -I'm sure that HG and RW would also be busy planning and such so that they'd take their studies for granted at times so they (yes, even HG) is bound to slip up just as RW can do better. Also HP needs to be considered.
•   op    -Scene/s where Harry talks to them (probably more so Ron since they share a dorm room and is a boy) about adolescent things such as first kisses and such (yeah that sounds a bit girly but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen).
•  
• -Do RW/HG plan for the lack of their sex life?
  • Well, up to you. Possible solutions all depend on what they plan to do before they go back in time and just how much time they have to plan it out.
    - They might search on temporary aging potions. 
    - They might collect clumps of their hair for polyjuice to take with them. Problem here being that if they go into their old bodies I'm pretty sure that they won't be able to carry anything with them, though they might try to.
    - Maybe they don't think about too much (all thoughts in the cause) until they go back in time, its harder than they thought and they do research on that instead of actual assignments. 
    - Maybe you can get uncomfortable conversations with McGonagall (human transfiguration) and Snape out of this.
  • Should they be able to transform theirselves- they are to be caught snogging by someone who knows about them. (Maybe this is why the twins go asking him for advice.)
•  
• -Remember they would have free time on hand to do such things. When they were at school they had time to be children. And now with knowledge about a lot of things, they don't have to research all those things that they had to before. Provided if course they remember it, or at least know where to look.
• -Also, feel free to use Penseives.

To me I see this fic being more focused of relationships, conversations, akward situations than on the actual battles and destruction of Horocruxes.

I can also see this work being written not as one fluid continuity but with jumps in time. Basically as a series of oneshots and multishots instead of novel form.
