Day 21 (I think... what day is it anyway!?)
It's a gorgeous sunny day outside. I've just done some marking for about an hour, and have already gone for a big walk down to the first oak tree on the driveway and back. I have been wondering if one of the reasons I might be so tired by lunch is that I haven't been getting enough exercise, so that was today's effort. It felt really good, especially since it's so beautiful outside today, so perhaps I'll have another go later.
Just waiting for the nurse to turn up now, which should be in the next hour. Dressings change time. Wonder how it's all looking in there. Tried to find out about getting the laser hair removal covered by the NHS, but didn't get very far with that. The person just said I should talk to my GP. Well last time I did, she didn't know anything about it, so I don't suspect I'll get too far with that! In any case, will have to get that ball rolling quickly, so will have to call the laser lady sometime today to sort out an appointment to see what can be done.
Hoping to clear the rest of my team on Q2 today for the second time... I'm so slow! At least the second and third lots of backreading aren't as labour-intensive, as I can just pick out their weak spots and make sure they're all still marking to the same standard. All good so far! What a great team.
