Update
Well the nurse came--she seemed quite inexperienced. No manuka dressing arrived with her. We just redressed the wound same as before and left it at that. It's sore in an annoying kind of way, so I'll probably take something for it soon--ibuprofen if I can find it.
Doing the lamb bbq just now, and getting really hungry, having slept through lunch! Superpumpkin has been just... supercrazily cleaning the house. She is truly amazing. Mowed lawn, did laundry, vacuumed, bleached stuff, cleaned this and that... the list goes on (and on!). Someone's going to be tired as heck tonight! I hope my bbq offerings and salad fresh from the garden are somewhat restorative. And of course the 0% beer as prerequisite for bbq repasts! I might have some wine.
Still have loads of online marking to do, on account of above sleeping, and not looking forward to it too much. Will try to take inspiration from all SP's hard work today and plough on with it.
Looking forward to a visit from friends in the Highlands sometime soon, and the tutelage in vegan curry cookery as promised. Just hope I'm more awake when all that happens!
