COVET: mid chapter 8

the book is progressing oh so nicely.

i'm really glad that i'm not getting a dejavu feeling while reading this. cause while i love ward, this is the only other book i've read by her besides the BDB, and i was afraid reading it would just make me feel like i was reading a BDB book.

i was wondering when our fallen would be a fallen angel. cause the book started with Jim as a human. gettin electricuted and being close to death... yup, that's the way to go. the scene with him at the edge of heaven receiving the missions was kinda silly. and i'm still not fully comphrehending how he's the middle man for both teams. seems to me that he's more on the good guys team than evil... he just doesn't seem to have evil in him. mind you he's kinda scary and intimidating, but that's it.

the funniest part so far had to have been when he regained consciousness and the angels where giving him hints that Vin would be the first soul he needed to save. especially when he asked him to dinner. you know it's totally no-homo, but just reading Vin's reaction was funny. he totally thinks Jim's totally whack. but better to just take the guy to dinner than he sue your ass.

and i don't know why, but i totally didn't pick up the fact that the blue dress was Vin's babe. ohhh, that's probably gonna fuck them both later when it comes out.

alright.. gotta continue my reading.
