People with disabilities, children with disabilities are not burdens!!!!  We are fucking human beings and we are no more `burdensome' than the rest of you. (We also don't have `special needs', we have the same needs as anyone else - they just have to be approached creatively in many instances - but that's a separate rant for another time.)  If the thought of having a child with a disability is too much for you, you probably shouldn't be having children anyway - they don't come with guarantees of perfection.
