Apparently it's not the microwave that's dead, it's the outlet it was plugged into. I realized that I'd tried everything when I realized the microwave wasn't working, except plugging it into a different outlet. I figured it couldn't hurt, so I plugged it into the outlet on the light above the kitchen sink. . .voila! We have a living microwave. ( Read more... )

Our microwave died. It's been a really long time since I had to survive without a microwave. I have to remember when I go grocery shopping that I can't get microwave only products.
