Home Sweet Home
So, spring break has come to an end. I'm so glad to be back. I'm completely swamped with things to do, but it's still nice to be back, especially since I have a wonderful boyfriend who greeted my return with some wonderful, and sweet and thoughtful, surprises (I love you, Darrell.) Speaking of which, I've still got some cookie cake left if someone would like to help me finish it.
I went to Dr. Norman's talk on Food and Meaning. It was interesting. . .especially since she made some of the different desserts people mentioned. I had never had pecan pie before (forgive me, I'm a Yankee from a family of Yankees,) but I've discovered that it's really good!! I don't know if it's all that good or what, but I will definitely have to try some more to find out.
Well, now it's time for me to watch Apollo 13 one more time so that I can write my McCane paper. . .wish me luck.
