Day 22: Harry Potter or Twilight?
Are you serious? Don't get me wrong. I like Twilight. I read Twilight and loved it, quickly moving onto the rest of the series. It is a great, romantic series and I enjoy the movies as well. But they do not compare to Harry Potter.
With Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling created an entire world. It's rich in detail. The characters come alive, jumping off the page. I feel like I know them. I feel like I know Hogwarts. But yet, I find something new every time I read them. Sitting down with those books is like visiting with old friends. I love the series so much. The only thing that really compares is Lord of the Rings, which is an apt comparison, I think.
Now, if you asked me Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings, that would be a tougher question.
