Day 21: Out of all the characters that died, if you could bring one back,...
...who would it be?
This is a difficult question. Most deaths had a purpose in the story. Sirius had to die in order to really impact Harry. The same can be said for Dumbledore. Harry had to do this on his own without leaning on him or Sirius. They couldn't always be there to protect him. So, as much as I'd like to bring back one of them, I just can't.
So, I guess I'd bring back Fred Weasley. I was furious when he died, actually throwing the book down. I figure that Rowling thought the Weasley family, as large as they were, had to suffer some loss. The odds were that one of them would die. But why not Percy? Sure, it wouldn't have been a huge impact for the reader, but why kill Fred? Yeah, I'd bring Fred back, simply so the twins could stick together.
