Oh man this was hard, but in the end I think I love the tendency in Asian dramas towards TOTALLY UNCONVINCING CROSSDRESSING the most.

IT IS SO RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS. But I am trying to get myself through a certain Chinese series first. I am...not even a third of the way through. (But it has a heroine who likes to just go around unconvincingly disguised as a guy while stealing from the rich to give to the refugees! And political enemies becoming sworn brothers while disguised! And a group of lady assassins.)

That is because Chinese series are a MILLION YEARS LONG which is why I have not yet watched any! . . . . but I will admit this sounds relevant to my interests as well.

But I am still in the middle of the drama about the heroine who is unconvincingly cross-dressed as a guy for wacky university hijinks in seventeenth-century Korea! With political enemies as SURPRISE ROOMMATES and epic intramural archery tournaments! I CAN'T START ANYTHING NEW YET.

I am like six episodes in and then got stalled by traveling and having various DVD sets loaned to me by people and never having any time for hourlong episodes, BUT SOON I WILL RETURN TO IT. Hilarious crossdressing hijinks, come back to me!
