Dream Journal: Panic! At the space colony
I really should have written all these down when I had them, but yanno, I always have the most interesting dreams when I've decided to sleep in, and then wake up late for work. 8D So I don't always have the time/motivation to type this stuff up. Which is a shame, since writing out my dreams usually leads to having more, and remembering them better.
So anyway, believe it or not, this dream spanned just 13 minutes of real-time, and could have been a full-length movie in dream-time:

There's a colony out in space, basically a huge city that houses mostly military and military families. One woman in particular is the wife of a captain who's been out on a mission for a good while. She gets a very fuzzy, vague transmission one day that tells her some Very Important Stuff, and that she needs to keep it a secret until her husband's return. Only a few days later, she gets another transmission from her husband saying something along the lines of "They want what I have. Don't trust anyone!" So she's a little freaked. Shortly after that, she's informed that her husband has been killed, and they're unable to retrieve his body for burial. Wife freaks out, knowing that now someone's going to try and come after her for her husband's info. She tells her son, "If mommy ever tells you to stay away from her, it's not because I'm made at you, okay? If I ever say that to you, you need to run away and hide somewhere safe."
So the day comes when wifey is walking to some kind of...street market? I dunno. But she spots a man holding a weird sort of tube-thing. In the dream this was called a rail-gun, and shot these blue metallic rods that could impale pretty much anything. I guess.
So dude tried to shoot wifey, and she jumps to the side and runs away. First she goes home and tells her kid to hide somewhere and not come out. Kid does, and wife goes back out to apparently eject the husbands secret info into space. (Yes. good plan. =__=)
But on her way to the city's main doors, she sees that there's practically an army outside, coming in for a raid.
So now she's running someplace to hide, but the first guy with the rail-gun spots her and corners her. Just as he's about to shoot her, a high-ranking officer (who happens to be Jack Harkness) from the wife's husband's troop, JUMPS IN to save the freakin day~! He's shortly joined by none other than the husband! who's really alive! And then both men are shot by Mr. Rail-gun. D8 So much for that.
Husband has just enough time to tell the wife to run! So she does, and flees to the city's Stone Garden, which happens to have a secret path through it that leads to a kind of sewer-like underground.
