Okay, so I finally has a full-time job... almost. That is, I am officially off the Temp agency's books and on the payroll of the new place. Sort of. Pending the last paperwork and stuff. Clocking in on the "Casual" slot rather than my own, named slot. But I'm almost there!

Oh, and since I've gotten TV viewing access back, I'm becoming addicted to American Idol. Shoot me.

Little-known fact - the creation of American Idol was (indirectly) New Zealand's fault. And as a side note, so were the Pussycat Dolls.

Oh, the horrors we have unwittingly unleashed on the world...

And yes, the original Conan stories should be required reading for anyone who claims to be a fantasy fan. Admittedly the sexism (and racism, let's not forget that racism) is a bit over the top, but hey - it was written by a manic depressive loner who grew up in a Texas oil town in the 1930s. Go figger.
