Spending

In a relationship, if there is one person who works outside the home and one who is a stay at home parent, does the person who works outside the home have the right to veto/cut off the spending of the stay at home parent?

stay at home parents, money

LOL not in my house !!!

Yeah sure, he goes to work, but because he works nights and sleeps in the day, he's not able to get to the grocery store or anything like that.

IDK, it's kind of funny that HE works, yet he asks me if he can go buy a book or something.

(To clarify, we don't have a huge income so we usually just have enough to cover what we need with a few treats here and there).

My husband is the exact same way. His reasoning is because I'm "the budget person", LOL.

Hahaha ... yeah, my husband just claims it's "easier". Yeah, easier for HIM because he doesn't have to deal with it all !!

I'd give my right boob to have my husband off graveyard. I'm a single mom for 21 hours a day because of it.

LOL that's how we do it, too! He works nights, earns the paycheck, but I control the budget.
