(no subject)
I'm adopting two (hopefully!) kitties on Wednesday! I'm so over not having a kitty around. It's time to just suck it up and do it. I've officially decided on one kitty and have gotten the paperwork started on him. His name is Ronald, he's a 7-month-old orange striped short-hair and he's absolutely adorable and so sweet and cuddly and he purrs constantly, but he also likes to play. I love him to death already. The other kitty I'm not 100% positive I'm getting yet, but I think I want Ronald to have a companion and someone to keep him company while I'm not home. There's another orange short-hair at the animal shelter that Ronald was licking and grooming when I first met them both, and I really think I'm going to end up taking her home too. She's a little more shy at first, but she warmed up to me and let me hold her and cuddle with her once she got used to me. She's 6 months old, came from a rough background, but she and Ronald seem to be best pals, so I really don't want to separate them. They make such a cute pair! They kind of look like siblings, or twins at that, but they're from different litters entirely. I can't wait to bring them home. Damn election day tomorrow and the animal shelter being closed or else I would TOTALLY have them tomorrow. :-( Oh well, I suppose I can wait an extra day.
