Alright. I finally figured out how to compress my films (using windows movie maker, oddly enough) and now I have them all up on youtube. I already put up my first project (the one with nick fucking the suitcase) but here are the other four from this semester:

Okay, so bed isn't as important as watching the rest of your shorts were, to me. Here are my thoughts (if you want them, if not then ignore this comment).

Clean Break - Your family is .FUCKING.RAD. The end.
But the fact that your dad has access to a turquoise down vest really took over my attention after reading your thoughts on the film. Haha.

The Right Exposure - The story was super cute. And I think I'm in love with Luke after seeing all of his contributions to your work. I'm guessing I would want to show him topless pictures of me with my number written out on my breasts, too, if put in the same situation. I digress. The filming, itself, just seemed...homemade. I'm kind of disappointed to see Debitum Naturae before I watched the rest of these. I love how funny and delightful the stories are for the others, but was really stunned with the darker/more mature nature of Debitum Naturae.

Destroy All Sponges - I want your cat, and I want him to have that voice. The stop motion was great. And you mentioned your limited control over pacing/camera shots with the cat and his activities, etc. But I thought they were fantastic. Favorite shot: Ike in the sink, preying. Seriously. I love your cat.

All of the stories (I don't know if you have to come up with these yourself, or whatever) were seriously original and fantastic, in my opinion. You were way too hard on yourself with Debitum Naturae, though. It was my personal favorite overall as far as shots, design, art direction, character presentation, and content were concerned.

I think I'm in love with you in general, though. Haha.

Okay, you're sick and annoyed with me by now, but I forgot to mention my love for your music choices in soundtracks specifically with Destroy All Sponges and Debitum Naturae.

You know what's up!

hahah dude, red army choir (the DESTROY ALL SPONGES!!! soundtrack) is pretty much always appropriate and makes any movie that much more badass.

hahaha you slay me! Ah! i'm blushing! No, thank you so much! It's interesting to hear other (especially people NOT in film school) opinions. REally, I find them probably MORE valuable than my classmates. It's really interesting that you liked Debitum the best, when most of my classmates thought the right exposure or the sponges movies were the best. Thank you for all your comments, seriously, I really REALLY value them. Plus you've got a great style to your work, so I love that you think my style is cool. Hahah!

and yeah we had to do everything on every project- write, direct, shoot and edit.

I guess my major complaint with debitum is that I did really like the character and the setting and I wish i had a better story, or had better told the story to do such a cool setting and character justice. Everyone said they wanted to see more, and I guess I feel bad for not delivering.

Oh and for ike in the sink? I didn't know he was going to do that, I was trying to get him to do that on the counter, but he jumped in the sink and I started filming and lucked out and got the cutest shot in the film...hahaha.
